Home Economics

Home Economics offers students opportunities to discover and further develop critical and creative capabilities that enhance individual and family wellbeing. In turn, these attributes can be used in their personal and professional lives, informing their future decisions and actions.

The emphasis on the individual and the family as the underpinning theme ensures a personalised approach which encourages students to be proactive in areas affecting their daily lives.

The subjects offered provide students with a range of interpersonal skills and opportunities to develop abilities to work and get along with others. This then assists them to develop the capability to manage problems of daily living in a practical way.
