To enroll at MacGregor State High School in 2026 and 2027, follow the procedures outlined for your specific application category.
Enrolment Categories
- Catchment Area: Students whose principal residence is within the local catchment area have priority enrollment. You can verify your address using the Queensland School Catchment Maps.
- Non-Catchment: Families outside the catchment may apply but are requested to pay a non-refundable $50 application fee. Enrolment is not guaranteed and depends on available capacity.
- Sibling: Students whose siblings are currently enrolled at MacGregor State High School, can apply under the sibling enrolment category.
- Scholarships & Excellence Programs: Selective entry is available for Year 7 students in Academic, Sporting, and Cultural domains. Excellence programs include:
- Honours Academic Excellence Program
- Music Excellence Program
- Volleyball Development Program
