Emane El-Mezin (Graduated 2006)

​Emane completed High School at Macgregor in 2006.  Upon completion, Emane decided to defer her university degree and pursue her tennis career internationally. In 2008, however, Emane chose to take on her professional career, graduating with a Bachelor of Law and Business majoring in International Business, from Queensland University of Technology in July 2013. Since 2006, Emane gained experience working in the medical industry progressing from a medical centre receptionist to a manger. As such upon completion of her degree, Emane was selected as a consultant in the Health and Public Sector in a company called Accenture, a multinational management consulting, technology services, and outsourcing company.  In October last year, however, Emane decided to resign from her position at Accenture and pursue her own business venture. In 2012 Emane was a founder and is currently the director of Australian After Hours Doctor, Queensland’s first bulk billing home doctor service. In 2013 Emane established Street Doctor - The first Australian project that provides medical services directly to the homeless and disadvantaged on the streets. As a director Emane has worked in developing the business strategy, creating new markets, pursing expansion opportunities, leading management and operations, designing the company’s internal computer software and content, stakeholder engagement and marketing and image development.In addition to these two ventures, Emane is currently overviewing the management of seven family owned medical centres as well as developing and implementing her own projects internationally in the Solar, Health, Gold and Food industries. Emane addressed students at the 2015 Leadership Assembly and her speech is attached.
